Happy Valentine’s Day friends!
I know I have been a little MIA this week… stay tuned for tomorrow’s post to see what kind of fun I was up to.
I had to post for Valentine’s Day. I love Valentine’s. I don’t necessarily love all the mushy gushy couple stuff that is involved in this day, but I do love that everyone has LOVE on their minds.
I am so thankful for all of the people that I share my life with on a daily basis. I am lucky to have such amazing friends and family who I feel loved by each and every day. I can only hope that I show half as much love to them as they do to me.
Ever since I have been away at school, I always really miss my family on this day. When we were growing up, it was always such a fun time in our house. We would wake up to a decorated kitchen and bouquets of flowers from dad, have a big breakfast before school, open cards and get little happys from the “Valentine Fairy.” At night, we would get take out and have a candlelight dinner together. It is one of my most favorite memories from growing up.
Speaking of growing up, I have to give a little shout out to my 9th Valentines Day with this guy.
We have never been huge Valentine’s celebrators BUT I am excited we can spend the weekend together!! It is always hard seeing all of the other girls with boyfriends going to dinner and doing fun stuff for Valentine’s when he is 8 hours away. We are meeting in New Orleans tomorrow night. Remember when we went last year?! Nola is our favorite spot.
Love you always and forever P!
Speaking of love… I hope that you guys all know how much I LOVE YOU! As always, thanks for reading. Your support means the world to me.
Have a happy, happy, happy Valentine’s Day and perhaps some champagne to celebrate?!
